Refund Policy

REFUND POLICY

This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be granted for event registrations and other services or products offered by the Texas Division of the International Association for Identification (TDIAI) Foundation (DBA Texas Forensic Foundation, ‘TFF’).

  • Overpayment: Any overpayment will be refunded upon request.

  • Mistaken Category: If a registrant registers under the wrong category, they must contact foundation@tdiai.org within 30 days of payment for a refund evaluation.

EVENT REGISTRATION

TDIAI has proudly served forensic science professionals in Texas for over 80 years. With the creation of the Texas Forensic Foundation (TFF), a 501(c)(3) public charity, we have expanded our ability to provide educational opportunities and advocacy for the forensic science community.

TDIAI and the TFF, while separate entities, partner to host events that serve the dual purpose of professional development and education. However, events held by the TFF are governed by the Foundation's own policies, which may differ from those of TDIAI.

TFF Events: For educational seminars, workshops, and other training events hosted in partnership with TDIAI but governed by the TFF:

  • FOUNDATION POLICIES: Refunds for events hosted by the TFF are governed by the Foundation’s policies. Registrants should refer to the specific event page or contact the Foundation for details on the applicable refund terms.

  • FOUNDATION CANCELLATIONS: If the TFF cancels an event, registration fees may be refunded in accordance with the Foundation’s refund policies.

MERCHANDISE AND SERVICES

Refunds for merchandise or services purchased through TDIAI will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of purchase.

PROCESSING REFUNDS

Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of approval and will be issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
